we have to pay $300 to join yahoo directory. is it worth to pay that much money to yahoo directory?

Don't pay! They'll index you in a few months wether you pay or not. You'll be pissing your money away.

What’s the point of paying when they will index your site when you have a thousand of free back links to your site? I heard that this Yahoo directory is a good way of getting good back links to your site but honestly you could get a lot of this for free. 
Would you like to work at home?

Never pay for yahoo services, they will give them free to you in the end.
