Hello,
Let's say I have a page with 3 distinct sections like this
Section title
400 words of text
Section title
400 words of text
Will it hurt my rankings if I were to use H1 for each title(H1 tag only used a few times). I'm guessing it does because I'm pretty sure the H1 Tag was intended to be used only for 1 title. Should I start with H1, then H2, then H3?
Any input is much appreciated!

h1 should be used once and for main title only
for others u can use h2 tags and h3 respectively

your page should be W3c standards compitable
and they says put h tags in order
such as h1, h2 and then h3
