hi

recently i have purchased a website. the previous owner told me that it is banned from google adsense

can i put ads on this website through my adsense id?

I suggest you contact adsense support before putting ads in that site.

I am worried, because i read somewhere in a forum, that Google can ban accounts "by association"...

I am not sure the exact details, but wanted to know if anyone has any info or previous experience on these things.

i have experienced it . google banned my account but i created new account and start displaying ads on same website Bangara Dance

I think they only ban accounts instead of pages proper (like mentioned above). You should contact them immediately and talk about your issue though because that's probably going to be the best way to get things properly taken care of.
