It has been five years now, since Microsoft's Bill Gates issued his "Trustworthy Computing" email in order to kickoff a hightened focus on security:

no wonder! security is biggest issue in todays computing.

they have issued a series of .net frame works after 2002. i have worked in .net and they (microsoft) seriously try to make it secure.
