hi all
normally i make a sitemap and submited to google once or twice in every 4-5 months. .I use a script where lastmod , changefreq and priority have the same values. I want to know if google will index my site faster if every time I add a page, this page will appear in the sitemap(with a bigger priority, and correct date-lastmod).

sitemap helps search engines to better crawel website pages and increase crawler proformance but yet it does not replace its existing method to rate different pages.
so in simple words i would says yes it helps but its impace is very small

sitemap basically used for the sites where user or crawler not able to research
for example search pages, search terms etc etc
