i have real estate company and i optimize my site target some neighboring areas. i have done it before for my another client and have pretty much success. anywys i have done optimizing my site and got first position in yahoo but no where in google.

i thought google penalized me because my news sites pages were very similar to old optimized site thats why i have changed the pages but still no where in google.

what make you assume that you are penalized by google. there might be some other reason. you need to understand that yahoo and google have different algos and different criteria to analyze the websites. you you are doing well in yahoo does not mean you will do well in google too.


google have different measures in which domain age is also matters. might be your previous domain doing well because it was old domain. try to do some social bookmarking on regularly crawl websites and wait some time
