Hi, Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), the latest web browser from Microsoft, comes with a lot of good news.
In recent years alternate browsers such as Apple's Safari and Mozilla's Firefox have become increasingly popular, in part due to following internet standards in how pages are displayed - subtle differences between browsers can sometimes make pages look different on IE than in Firefox, for example.
This is no longer the case - the part of IE8 that displays a page has been completely re-written to be standards compliant, much like Safari and Firefox.
i think this is a plus that will make IE8 better than the other browser, which is great for this world famous browser.

That is good news. To be honest it's going to take some serious innovation and quality work to get me to switch back to Internet Explorer after becoming so accustomed to Firefox but at least they're taking notes on the competitors.

For sure, mtrent. I never even use mine except for when it auto-launches. Compared to current Firefox and even Safari, IE is really below par and losing steam fast.
